Weird font rendering

I'm having intermittent problems with the font rendering on ST. Some times the font renders very low res and causes weird pixelation issues.

Here are a few pics including my address bar to show its not a system wide issue on my end. Hopefully its something I can fix though as it makes reading hard on the eyes.

Thanks!

Well I figured that out, it was ad-block. I assume that is intentional so I've disabled it. Definitely have no problem supporting this site through ad revenue.

I run ad block plus.  No problems.

Hmm interesting. Well it fixed it for now so I'll leave it off and see if it happens again.

Perhaps it's an issue with how Adblock interprets ST's fonts on Chrome. Though this wouldn't really explain if it occurs intermittently.

After using the addon on Firefox (primary browser), I've also yet to experience this. Of course, browsers do render fonts / layouts slightly differently, such as the difference between Firefox, Chrome and IE in this example:

By the way, when you say you've disabled Adblock, is this completely or just for Simtropolis? If not, there's an option to add sites to a whitelist, which are then excluded from the ad-blocking. This could be done for ST, while allowing it to still function for other sites.

Just for ST, not sure I like Simcity enough to live with youtube ads. Ya it really doesn't make sense that its adblock but stranger things have happened. Hopefully it doesn't happen again and I can live happily ever after.
