So, if everyone begs for a patch or something in 1 gazillion posts, it won't work. So, here we rally and take our ideas to EA.

Q and A

What are we rallying for? Well, that's  what this topic will figure out, When an idea get's submitted enough, I will start a rally in another post.

Bigger maps! No. Can't rally for that yet. I need to ask around to some tech savvy people and get the official system specs. If it is, in any way possible, we will open a bigger maps rally then and there.

When will you post a rally, oh exalted leader? That is top-secret information.

What if we have another question about rallies and this topic? By all means, ask me via PM, and I will answer it!

Many of the mods have taken care of most of my issues.

I'd just be happy with an update that fixes education, especially university, so I can max out my university.

Yes, please fix missing students for Colleges and University - Students drive parents car won't get home for days and somewhat missing from the grid, resulting "No longer educated". Using school bus to collect students from Arcology seems a quick fix, but 10% of educated sent back to Arcology leaving the uneducated staying in the residential. But its ok, I didn't hurt the industry that much. Just a little nuisance.

We would love to see students commute from other cities or from Arcology to Colleges and University. For now all I can see students commute between cities is only applied to Grade/High Schools (with School Buses)

Smoother and better capability in working with other players.

  • So far as I know no one from EA has come forward and properly explained the green and red and gray borders around other players in your reigion.  You can figure them out a little, but... they do sometimes seem to change haphazardly.
  • The ability to wheel and deal for resources would be nice "I need processors, how much you want to sell them to me for?"  OR set up producers the same way we buy electricty, water and power: "X city builds processors, start importing them for X simoleons?"
  • Drop the ridiculous automatic "X mayor comes to your town on a visit" - that notification should only come up when a fellow human mayor chooses to look at your city.
  • Few people choose a city specialization - you can't even pick Omega specialization.  Drop it.
  • A few VERY multiplayer-friendly regions.  We need a five-city all-connected by everything (road rail and water) region where every city plot has Ore/Coal/Oil, a good water table everywhere and all the plots are flat.  Why?  Because when trying to find a region where there are active players too often all the best spots are taken up.  If you're in the mood to make a mining city and the mining spots are all taken up you're screwed.  Or the onle plot left is the hilly one it's hard to work with.
  • The ability to create a reigion where a player can have only one city.  What's the point of multiplayer when someone if juggling cities among themselves?
  • The ability to sort regions by active players and non-sandbox.
  • A timer on newly created cities.  If a player joins a region, lays one road and then leaves, that plot is dead to other players.  There ought to be a way to revert towns that have less than 5,000 population to "open to new players" status.

Fix how each building produce garbage cans per day. Example, Low Wealth Residential + High Density produce 100 cans of garbage on the start of the day (which is ok, fair enough). Once it collected, the very same residential produce another 100 cans of garbage for another 3 to 4 in game hours, thus having 500-600 cans of garbage for each lot per day (is that even logical?). Having large populace city will hurt Garbage Dumps and left "Garbage cans collected" in red. This applied to all buildings. Educated buildings doesn't help either.

So far, people want an education fix. I would say that there is no eduation problem, but hey, this is a topic of the people.
