We want to delete abandoned cities!

The game has been out for so long why dosnt EA or Maxis just fix this problem of regions up on regions of dead abandoned cities in half and others who tried to actually enjoy the Multiplayer side of the game why are we still not able to delete abandoned cities that cant be claimed for whatever reason to invite new players to the spot and have a full region of active players. or have it disappear on its own after a while

The OP seems to be involved in a multi-player version.  EA never created nor supported them.  "Dead" cities can surely be obliterated by whoever owns the server site.  Multi-player is at best, a contrived situation and I doubt such a system lasts very long as people lose interest in it.  Perhaps the OP should simply play the game solo on his home machine.

Hmm. I doubt that he is talking about SC2013 but in that case, since he mentioned multiplayer it might really be.

yes I'm talking about being able to take abandoned cities OFF your region to open room for Actual active people. Im sick of starting in an active region and all the sudden people just disappear for months or they abandon a city that I cant claim ( and if I was to claim it meaning I have the right packs I would have to bulldoze everything to make it a flat land again for someone to take. and that someone must also have my amusement park pack to even claim the flat land to make the region active again. Why dose EA make this so hard They are the ones who wanted this game to be Online and for people to enjoy the online aspect of it.
