Hello,
i have many Maxis-CS$$$ boutiques in my current city and i want to replace them with other CS$$$ buildings for more diversity. I downloaded big hotels for that issue. But i don't want only this holiday-like hotels with many trees and swimming pools. I searched for more office-like buildings who would better fit in a skyline than this hotels. But i found nothing.
Anyone who knows how or where i can find them (no shopping malls)?

CS$$$ will lead you to large resorts and hotels.  If you want office complexes try for CO$$$.  S for service, O for office.

This question might be out of topic but I am interested in looking for CS/CO buildings that are maxis made. Is there a a thread that has pictures of all default maxis game content buildings? Because I kept on wondering how come I don't get to see those other so called maxis default buildings (commercial) grow in my city. So far the tallest buildings in my city that are maxis made is that entertainment and pharmaceutical (I forgot the first names) ones. I never get to see that building with a blue glassy facade.

There is a list with pictures of all maxis buildings, but at the moment i don't know where.

Maybe trivial, but have you enabled Houston and Europe-style in your citys too? Because that pharmaceutical building is i think Chicago or New York-style (which i always disable).

edit: The best example for what i'm searching for is the Chelsea Tower (CS version). But it is so unique, that i cannot place more than one or two in the whole city. The Jing Guang Hotel is also O.K., but it offers only 900 jobs. The Wariott Grissom Place Hotel is not bad too. But that's it.

CS = Commercial Services.  In RL most of these are not offered in corporate towers except, perhaps in malls on the first couple of floors.  One of the problems we have in SC4 is that we don't have mixed mode buildings that would allow this.

What commercial service would do well enough to be able to afford a tall downtown building considering the cost of inner city real estate?  When does a service (insurance) become a tower?  When it becomes a Commercial Office for an Insurance Company.  The service becomes incidental to the investment bank.

I know that it is not realistic to have a normal skyscraper completely with commercial services. But then the simcity simulator should not generate such a high demand for CS (which only can be satisfied with nearly hundreds of boutiques ect. or with shiny holiday hotels) or there should be more custom skyscrapers which "hide" the CS jobs behind a normal skysraper (like the Chelsea tower). But maybe i'm the only one who bothers this situation.

...such a high demand for CS (which only can be satisfied ...

It cannot be satisfied. This deliberate setup keeps the simulation from accidentally crashing and wrecking everything. There's always something that has positive demand, so there's always a way out of a slump.

It is really an artifice.  If one wanted one could construct a lot that had a building on it with occupancy stats way out of line to soak up the CS demand.  It would be interesting to see what would happen if one did this.
