My very minimal Spanish runs to things like 'dos cervaces, por favor', 'arroz con pollo', and other restaurant items.  Seems the Spanish speaking people more or less avoid the frozen north. 

 

Really too cold up here except in the summer when many come to work on farms.  Ontario minimum wage will be $11/hr starting in June this year.  A summer of farming up here probably sets many of them up for at least a year.

As a Filipino, I know some very common Spanish words that are also incorporated in Filipino. As of the moment, I'm also learning Spanish formally. Greetings to all! Me gusta arroz caldo!
