Looking for a new Style

Hello,

 

I was wondering if I could find a Style somewhere, because the 4 Maxis ones got a bit boring. But for some reason 

the STEX search blocks the query 'Style'...What reason is there for this, and can I find, for example, an Asian or French Style, much like tilesets in SCC/SC2K/SC3K?

The game is limited to the 4 maxis building tilesets, but if you take a look around the STEX you will find every type of building style - from Sci-Fi to medieval and everything in between.  It is entirely possible to pick one of the maxis building sets and make it something entirely different - say 'Asian' for example.  It will be up to you, however, to mod the buildings that you download to reflect your own personal preference.   SC4-PIM (PIM-X) is a tool you can use to change the tilsets and it is fairly user friendly.  Other tools exist as well, and you can search around the forums to decide what is best for you.

I love different styles! Could you suggest some search queries - I really can't find anything interesting.
