OK, here's my problem, the other day when I went in to the Plugin Manager to try and mod some models, I had the following problem:

As you an see, there are no little plus signs next to descriptors28.gif, which means I can't really do anything at all, can anybody help?8.gif42.gif  Any ideas?  I have reinstalled the Plugin Manager several times, as well as the updates for it and SC4SC4 works, the BAT works, and I think the LE works, but the PM doesn't, please help.

I have no idea how to fix it. I hope someone can help you. Have you tried reinstalling BAT? You will have to move your camrigs/scrips, and maps, though.

The Plugin Manager is installed with the Gamepack BAT for gMax, are you sure the shortcut is pathed to the right exe, in the SimCity4\Apps folder in the  programs directory?

EDIT:  What you show is what would open if you double clicked the Unicode Run-time error fix file. [also named SC4Pluginman.exe]

YESYESYESYESYESYES!  THAAAAAAAAANK YOOOOOU!44.gif44.gif29.gif10.gif16.gif44.gif9.gif9.gif  That was my problem I had uninstalled the plugin manager, and then gone to EA.com to donwload and reinstall, but the file labled as Plugin Manager with unicode fix was ONLY the fix, not the program itself.  So I had to reinstall the BAT, and then the actual program was installed.  so now it works!  Because I hadn't been dealing with the actual program, just something that looked like it, and according to EA, 26.gif WAS the Plugin Manager.  Anyway, thank you, that little EDIT fixed my problem!9.gif44.gif44.gif16.gif9.gif

ok, so I seem to be having the same problem. my question is what did you do with the unicode fix file, what do you do with it? because things still are not working at all down here and i have a ton of models that i made which are totally useless at the moment.

You copy [and overwrite] it into the C:\Program Files\Gmax\gamepacks\BAT\scripts folder.  Depending on how you saved it, it should have the name ModelNames.ms, if it is named ModelNames.ms.htm then delete the .htm.

EDIT:  If you installed the gMax with the SC4 BAT installer, then the SC4PluginMan.exe will be in the C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps folder.  That is where you want the shortcut to path to.
