Does health have any effect on demand?

I know higher education will attract better businesses to your city, but what about health? Are longer lives and less nagging form your advisors really the only effects of good health?

A healthy climate is one of the basic requirements for CO$$$ and I-HT.  An epidemic among the Sims can lead to all kinds of bad things not the least of which is low Education Quotient.

Epidemic? I think I had this 12~24 times in my city, but I thought that it was some quote from another environmental advisor speaking BS. '-'

Longer life means longer working career. If you're investing heavily in educating your sims up to age 22 or so, then you don't want those valuable workers dying off at 45. Keeping them healthy means that your edu investment will pay dividends to age 65 or so.

On the other hand, letting your sims retire just means they'll soak up ever increasing quantities of services without producing anything, so don't bother raising their health beyond retirement age. I wonder if I can find a mod that will either raise the retirement age or kill off any sim who quits working?

Sims never retire.  Even a lot with the deepest blue on the sim age map will need half its occupants working or will abandon.

Damn dude, I sure as hell hope I don't ever live in one of your cities :) Although I am still in my working prime, I don't want to know that I am waisting my whole life slaving away for you, only to be killed off when its finally time to take a break! No break for the sims, so sad...
