Not sure if there is another topic like this on the forums but I have recently been downloading more lot and bat files. I always install both ploppable and growable but recently some files have not been showing up in my landmark folder like normal. Is there a way to fix this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Only some ploppables show up in your landmarks menu.  Some of them are directed elsewhere.  Try the Mayor Mode Menu and the various transportation menus.  Transportation lots usually show up in the miscellaneous transportation menu unless it is related to ground rail or monorail.  Look around, you'll probably find your missing ploppables.

Realize that not all lots have a ploppable version.

Sometimes they're in submenus that make sense.  Downloaded train stations tend to show up in the same submenu as the regular Maxis train station... but not always.  And sometimes they're just in sort of random spots.  I've downloaded some sunken highway walls that show up in the Power Plant submenu for example.

That sort of behaviour is due to inexperience or carelessness on the part of the developer.  You can use various tools to fix that.

Which tool would be the one to use to change what menu a lot appears in?

One option would be with the which is basically a much simplified version of the Reader.

Or it could be something intentionally designed. The Parks menu usually gets quite cluttered quite quickly, so some developers put their decorative lots elsewhere in less cluttered menus. For instance, Marrasts River Embankments are in the Harbour-menu, Shadow Assassins Bike Paths are in the Healthcare Menu and Jeronij's Slope Walls are in the Misc Transportation menu. So there's more into it...
