Telegraph + electric lines and poles

I have searched almost everywhere (im sure there are more nooks and crannies somewhere) for over head/over hanging telegraph/electric wires. I was looking for wires and poles that would overhang on the side of my road.

Not finding anything, i decided to make my own, only that i have no idea how to.

I want to create something like the NAM teams' RHW puzzle pieces/decorative pieces, where i want to create an overhanging lot that goes on top of my road, without interfering with traffic, and that has electric poles/and/or wires on the side.

Something sort of like this:

Someone here might coincidentally know how to do that, but you might have to ask some transit modding people how to do that.  BATers could help you with making the poles and with the lot, but the "without interfering with traffic" part is in the domain of transit modding.

What you see there isn't actually an overhanging lot but a sidewalk mod in itself. An overhanging lot would work, but you would need to make several lots to fit on road intersections, diagonals, curves, etc. It also would take a long time to plop overhanging lots roadside.

A set of transit enabled lots may be easier, and you would then only have to create overhanging lots for intersections. Or you could create a mod like you see in the picture above, but that may require some more learning and lots of hard work. If you're up for it, it's a good challenge and I'd encourage you to go for it. :)

Overhangs aren't a thing that's exclusive to NAM development, it's that they're executed far differently than how, for example, an overhang prop would be.

An overhang prop attached to a 1x1 lot would be all you need, unless you want to actually "glue" the props directly onto the roads themselves, in which case it becomes a T21 modification, which becomes something that someone from the NAM Team could actually assist at.

The only real problem, if you're looking to bat the props yourself, is slope-conformity. Usually you'd have to cut up the wires into small segments and attach each one onto each tile.

The only thing that comes to mind that's similar is this: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=15931.msg462180#msg462180

I would't recommend making TE lots for this because 1, that's still a lot of work, and 2, you can really break the Traffic Simulator if you're not using the right settings. Plus, a T21, if done right, can be easily ported from one network to another without having to "re-glue" anything.
