To be honest, I didn't like it. It sounds over the top and unappealing to me. I'd give it a 4, but I feel generous, so I give it a 5.

6/10 without the video, 7/10 with.  While what you've posted of Blur has made me more interested in them, this particular song has a kind of retro sound that doesn't really appeal to me.  Not bad, for sure, but something I would definitely skip over on the radio.

8/10.  They certainly don't make music like this anymore.  I'm not a huge fan of 60s rock, but this was pretty good.  I was wrestling with the rawness of it, whether it was worthy of bumping up to an 8 from a 7.  The longer I listened, the more it sounded like they earned that extra point.  I decided I liked the raw, unpolished sound of it.

The instrument that sounds like a distorted guitar is actually a heavily distorted bass and this song included lots of modulation and effects, making it an example of early electronic music while still being one of the greatest unknown records of rock music.

A nice little progressive rock track from the sixties, the fact there was no guitar (aside from the bass) is more impressive. Again a groovy little gem long forgotten in the late 60s.
