No ground texture ?

Hi all :)

I just downloaded some BATs of Bixel, and they were fantastic :D ! Only problem is that 2 buildings (The Sky Tower and Lockwood) showed no ground texture, althought I'm pretty sure I've downloaded all the required dependencies. Those buildings showed up with , well the buildings, some props like trees and benches..., but with no ground. It only showed only a blue checkerboard texture you see when loading the city. I'm not sure what's the proper word, um "grayscale"  I think ? :D All of my other BATs turn up well, with no such problem. My graphic setting is set to high and all other buildings are perfectly fine. And I also have my game updated, and I also have the 2 maxis propfile in the Plugin folder. I don't know what part when wrong :(

Make sure you have BldgProps_Vol1, _Vol2.  Some people consider them to be default.  Failing that, why not send a screen shot to Bixel and ask what you missed.  Usually the lot creator can solve this faster than anyone else.

^ The bldg prop files are always useful, but they won't solve your texture problems.

Here's what I found in the description of your buildings:

    BSC Textures Vol 01.dat
BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1
    BSC Textures Vol 02
    PEG MTP Mountain Theme Pack

...Some dependencies that will most likely sort out your troubles

Thanks Magneto but I've already downloaded everything from the list. I just sent a screenshot of that to Bixel. Hopefully it'll be solved :) Thanks for your input ^_^

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried to open the files with the Lot Editor?

Unfortunately, that number is not unique.  Hope you get something from Bixel soon.

If you are comfortable with LE, you may want to just remove the missing textures and replace it with a texture that you already have in your plugin folder (or even a maxis one).  Otherwise it may be a while before you solve this issue.  With enough practice, you may eventually enjoy altering lots to fit your personal preferences.  The lot Editor can become addicting :)
