Teirusu's limitless beach mod stopped working

I know it's because I downloaded something of the LEX that said it was not compatible with it, so I tested it out and the limitless beach still worked. Now it doesn't, and I can't remember what download caused the conflict. Does any one know which mods are not compatible with Teirusu's beach mod?

Thanks z1, although I've never downloaded that one. There must be others. I was thinking it was Ennedi's diagonal mod since I recently added that, but I tested it without it and it didn't seem to fix it.

EDIT: Just reread the readme for Ennedi's DJEM, and that is indeed the conflicting mod. Of course, two very useful mods conflict. I'll just go back to using Pjot's DJEM because I hadn't noticed a difference anyway, and the limitless beach mod it too cool.

Again, I can't seem to get the beaches back. I removed Ennedi, put Pjot back, blew up my city, exited, tried to extend beaches and nothing... If anyone knows how I can get my limitless beaches back please let me know.

The limitless beach mods must load last so the game will load the modified exemplars last.  You must make sure the mod loads after any terrain mods, diagonal edges mods, or any mod that modifies terrain exemplars.

To make the mod load last:

Put the mod in a folder (if you haven't done it yet) and rename the folder something that will make it load after all other conflicting mods ie. zzzzzz_[NAME HERE] The game reads the "Plugin" folders alphabetically from A - Z.

A technical tip: When in doubt, find your latest downloaded mods by sorting the display in windows explorer on date created.  Make sure that column is visible, then click on the header.

Thanks all. I've figured out the problem, or at least the solution. I had moved my Columbus Terrain folder into the "zzz_terrainmod" folder with the seasonal flora recently. Once I had moved it back to its previous folder "d Visual Mods" I got my limitless beaches back. I now have my limitless beach in a folder named "zzzzzz limitless beach" but that didn't solve the issue until I move my terrain mod.

Instead of having numerous terrain, DJEM, limitless beach, and terrain height mods, you're far better off downloading Ilive's reader (LEX) and learning how to tweak a couple values in your terrain mod.  All those other mods are found in the same terrain exemplar, so by having them, you really have multiple copies of the same exemplar (mod) installed at the same time, and load order becomes problematic (as you found).

If that idea appeals to you i can tell you which values you need to tweak...

Thanks Blunder. I'll look into that when I get a chance this weekend. Is that reader the same tool used to change lot properties, such as which Building Style set they will grow in and NIMB properties? I've been wanting to do some tooling around with certain lots.
