Game Killing Bug

As I was playing on a new region for about a half an hour and all the sudden BAM I'm back in the menu. I re-enter my city and everything I put effort into was gone and the city was empty the area to build it is all I had left

Did you skim through the topics in this section?  There are lots of reasons for crashes and many of them have fixes.  However, we can't help you if you don't tell us about your machine and your game.  Please answer the following:

 

  • What game are you running: SC4 without rush hour; SC4 with rush hour; SC4 Deluxe; or SC4 Deluxe digital download.
  • If you loaded the game on your machine from optical media, did you patch it with the published patches?
  • Please describe your machine: CPUs, GPU, RAM, VRAM
  • Do you have any plugins?
  • What were you doing when the game crashed?
