I would also like to hijack this topic quick just to get a few words in and to bump.

 

First BUMP

 

Two is yes its an external link to my gaming community. Okay sorry. No simtropolis staff im not trying to lure people away. This is exactlly like with open transport tycoon, communities revolving around that and trying to solidify a gamebase for people to play with.

 

Ghost with Hats a few goals. But our main one is to be able to have fun in simcity 2013. The thread on simcity 2013 when it comes to games is very decentralized and simply who wants to join me or me or me. Even though simcity 2013 dosnt allow (until people hack it open > ) the freedom of controlling everything (primarilly what i mean is server side), we can still hold things clientside and try and work from there. Getting the community together and playing organized games i feel is just as, if not, more enjoyable then just playing with random people or people that are unreliable who will probablly abandon game and call it quits. The point of GwH is to try and organize, have fun, communicate, learn.

 

Third, I am trying to work on making my site alot more customized to alot more of a simcity atmosphere. I would also love to activilly contribute both to my group and simtropolis' modding community by sharing ideas and any modifications we come across being able to create. I very much hope i will be able to hold the utilites and knowhow needed to be able to start scratching at the code and trying to reverse engineer it. Big task, professional people against me who know what to look for... but any little helps right?

 

Finally; Alittle about some of the games im trying to set up. The first game i got running is a free game starting tommorow, friday 12th of April around 7pm Eastern Standerd Time. I already have a gameschedule and from then on will be running constant games as much as possible for the community. Im also hosting a tournament (Gamedays) with prizes for the top 3. Including winning a 50 dollar steam card as the grand prize. It might not be hundreds or even A hundred. but its the thought (and free money) that counts .

Had a look at your site.

 

Two things;

 

Drop RaidCall > it's too buggy and unreliable. Teamspeak or similar will garner you more support.

 

The other > as the admin and main influence, watch your spelling and grammar, take the time to edit and spell check ! You're a leader now, step up your game LOL
