Question for you though.  I've noticed that often times you use short streets for your residential/commercial.  If I've got longer streets, how would you recommend allocating commercial vs Residential?  Both ends and in the middle maybe being commercial?  or something else?

What proportion of Commercial to Residential?

That is a good question. 

While at low density you can have up to 10 R homes and have a shop on each side. Or have 2 shops in the middle and 5 R on each side. At medium density max 3 homes distance from one C. If you have parks around R in the same street as C you can use a part instead of a shop for 1-2 homes. At high density you can follow the same rules as for medium.

 

But, remember that high wealth R have the least amount of shoppers and residents per building so you can get to even high density whitout having high wealth shops and just parks.

I like the roundabout idea when entering a city that you have.  And I understand that originally the idea behind medium streets was the stop signs instead of traffic lights.

 

With the v2.0 changes, has that changed your mind about using medium streets for the roundabout?  Should we use high density streets or even avenues for the roundabouts now instead of Medium streets?  If not, why not?

Thank you. Well, your can use low density street to get only a stop sign, but at only 2 lanes after medium density you have to upgrade to medium or redo as a 6 lane avenues. Watch and see with works better.
