Antarctic region looking for players

Just started up a new region on the Antarctic server, and I'm now looking for some people who'd like to play with me there.

I'm a rather social player, and as such I'd enjoy chatting with anyone who comes on, but I'd be more than happy to play with people who don't like chatting as well, just need tell me to shut up.

The region uses the map Reflection Atoll, and it is set as a public region. It's name is Triton Isles. If you want in, just add me on Origin or simply search for it.

I've been having some problems playing lately, because the game keeps crashing a minute or two after launching it, but I'll make sure to send you an invite as soon as I can get back on, Shroom.

 

That said, it should be as simple as searching for me in the game, clicking my profile, and then it should be in my list of games. I made it public to allow that functionality, after all.

What do we start as regional project ? The fourth one would be nice since i really have workers issues. but all 4 are fine.

 

Do you need something to be searched at univ ?

 

Do you need special services  ? (I begin to have issues managing clean water / bad water) I m thinking going nuclear soon in term of power (a bit afraid of fukusimcity)

 

i spent lot of time trying to work around transportation issues. Too bad you can't set one way road or create docks to add more ferries. Not sure how to reduce ferries waiting time.

 

My city is a bit of "polyvalent", i think i will create a processor factory soon. I have Empire State building, Recycling chain. Next plan is to do some rework to replace current fire dept and clinic by big fire dept and hospital. Will probably also start processor chain soon, and add 1-2 monuments to the city. I ve tried the sidney opera, can't make it generate some cash (no traffic, but they doesn't want to go see an Opera, not sure why, i have mostly $$ and $$$ pop) I have the feeling that only $$$ pop go there (despite the textbox saying $$ and $$$).

Actually, from what I've heard, the only worthwhile Great Works is the airport. It provides both tourism and freight, so pretty much any city can benefit, but I'm not exactly biased toward any one.

Hopefully, EA will release a patch soon so I can start playing again. <.< Feels rather crummy for me to not be able to play with you guys now.

Yeah, the region wall is rather buggy. Regions overall are bugged out, utilities sharing doesn't seem to pay, for example.
