Sound Problems

Dear all,

 

I played the game for around 10 hours now. Quite enjoyed it. But sadly, when I put the sound on. I get a problem. While following systemrequirementslab I do have the right sound system. The problem is that the sound sometimes get's very slow, or it's just disturbed. At least not how it should sound.

 

Someone have a idea why?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, can't work out how to fix it. What sound card do you have? Mine is the Realtek built into my motherboard. Not sure of it's exact specs but if we are both using the same motherboard sound hardware that might lead us to an answer. I was going to try changing the sound format from windows and see if that helps. I'll let you know if I get any results. (Of course that will mean running the gauntlet of logging out of SimCity and back in)

I have another problem,when i reach a population over 300,000 on one of my cities,then at a random time of my game the sound stucks and I hear the same sound.After that when i quit the game it never sychronize and keep saying ''wait for syc with servers'',or sth like that and application don't respond-i need to alt-control-del to close the application.(the game is not saved).The next time i join the game city loads normally but at a previous savegame and continue to play normally...

I can confirm this.

Sound just goes away at some point and only comes back with a nice restart.
