Well, I'm still heartbroken over Magik... I was really depressed about it... I thought getting a new puppy might cheer us all up (my family and I), and it really did seem help a lot.. I just picked link up from the airport this morning in fact...

jaqulina: Thanks once again... glad you liked the most recent updates, and Link!

    Planck Grows

I showed some photos of Planck, but never properly introduced it... the city has been growing since the last update, so even while some of these shots may be familiar, there should be some new things to look for in each of them.

By the way, I also like how you blend the Seasonal trees in so they don't take over the screen.

    Introducing: Zeno Beach

Having taken notice of the commercial success of Fra Mauro's beachfront development, Planck Mayor Gerry Griffin decided to start an even more ambitious beachfront development project in his own city: Zeno Beach was born....

Fantastic updates! Gotta love those region shots!

I agree with tchaos713 when he says that you don't 'over-use' the seasonal trees. Some CJ's I've seen really go overboard with 'em. You seem to have a nice balance, though.

Keep up the great work! 44.gif

The Apollo County Space History Museum has opened an extrordinary new exhibit... a full size replica of a Saturn V moon rocket. There are only 3 real Saturn V's left in existence, one at Cape Kennedy, Florida, one in Houston, Texas and another in Huntsville, Alabama.

Thanks tchaos713. Believe it or not, I got the idea from NASA, they actually have such an, upright, life size replica at the Huntsville Space Center (along with a real one that's laying on it's side). I was amazed when I went on the STEX and typed saturn v and this thing came up!

    Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I just got done eating a nice dinner with my family... I'm stuffed.... great time to make an update to Apollo County.

    mtbrocket: Thanks very much!

    Armstrong Seaport expands:

Tranquility has grown to a population of over 77,000 sims. With a strong industrial sector, it was necessary to expand the area's port at the town of Armstrong. The image below shows the area (highlighted in red) that was demolished to accommodate this massive construction project, which took 10 years to complete:
    seaportbeforedevelopment9pj.jpg

And here is the newly developed area:

Coming up soon Apollo County Real Estate will begin including listings in this City Journal. The properties will be purchased with comments. Each property will have a value that corresponds to the number of posts you've made in this thread. If you have enough posts, you can buy the property listed on a first come first serve basis. Upon completing this transaction, you will become a citizen of Apollo County, and your property will be made historical. If you have only enough posts to buy a small place now, you can always sell your property back and purchase something nicer from a later listing down the road.

The first area we will have offerings in will be the town of Bayside. Before posting the listings, Apollo County Real Estate would like to show you some of the attractions of this area, to answer the question Why would I want to live in Bayside?

Bayside is a very idealic small suburb of the city of Tranquility:

    Schools
Bayside is one of the best School Districts in the Apollo County Area:

    Recreation, Dining and More:

    Bayside Maritime Park and Marina:

Don Quixote Spanish Cuisine, and Shorty Burger:
    baysidecuisine0dl.jpg

There's also a Wendys, and for the faithful a local chapter of the Church of Saturn:

Soon we will be posting a very limited number of listings in this area... if you want to live here, watch for them!

I like your region. Its neat to see how its progressed to its current state. Also, the road network is interesting, how it is comprised of semi-limited access roads but not highways. Do the roads have names or numbers?
