Today I was looking on Amazon I seen Simcity building sets for sell $9.99 each (online game code) German, French, British. Now they also have a double pack for $14,99 which includes British & French,

So I guess there will be no exchange you will just be buying new building sets for $10 a pop.

That price is insane! I thought each tileset would be at least the cost of a DLC Civilization for Civilization V, which is $5.

This is disgusting. As usual, EA leaves me feeling sick to my stomach.

I think they would sell much more if they made them cheaper... If they were like 5$ I would even probably buy one myself. 10$ is just too much in my currency. Also, I don't see modding available anytime soon, because the gameplay and the business model doesn't look very mod friendly.

Amazon is missing the DC comic one but, that is a crazy price I thought of as well.

I would point you to The Sims 3 to see what's in store for SC as far as options and price. I expect some things will be a good deal (probably sale timing needed) and others will make you laugh and/or cry. :)

I can't wait to see if we get single buildings for like $1.99 each left and right.

If they sell single building then forget it.

Oh my god! They sell you an incomplete game and make you pay for every bit that should have been in the actual game.. Criminals...

One of the reasons why I do not expand this game...It's WAY to expensive. Seriously criminal. Isn't there a way to just let them get punished for this crime?

I tried looking via Amazon for these, but was unable to find these sets.  I bought the Sim City Limited Edition which from my understanding comes with the French building sets, can you like the British and German ones?

That is the earmark of EA.

Makes me think fondly of back in the day when Maxis was still Maxis, when games were complete, the excitement of SimDay Thursdays when you often got a free, useful object, and game play was designed for the players enjoyment first, rather than as a thinly veiled excuse for micro transactions, as it is today. Yep, those were good times.

It may be crappy, but how exactly is it criminal? They're free to set whatever price they want and we're free not to pay it.

I haven't even bought this yet even though I've been a SC fan since the very first one... I'm waiting out the server issues and hoping they'll release an offline-mode patch. But I'm also not going to ask for criminal charges, since, you know, there's no actual crime being committed.

That's just ridiculous since you can get the upgrade pack on Origin for $20 and get all three sets.

    Here you go http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLS4GKK/ref=s9_simh_gw_p63_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=0S57SYM061MTBNXW2Q38&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846

What Maxis/EA should have done in my eyes is make one version all deluxe. This way everyone is on the same page on day 1. Then down the road have different things one can buy. Don't start screwing me before I even get on a server LOL

I think the prebuys should get the upgrade pack for free for dealing with the server issues all week.... Either that or make a special set for us

How many different buildings are in each set? From what I saw, I'd be surprised if there were 10.
