How to: Lots showing up too frequently

What is the best way to get lots to show up less frequently? Other than bulldozing 1.gif

My problem lot right now is swi21's tudor/english house -- there are 6 versions of the house and they are pretty much the only thing I see for that wealth type.

If I delete the lot files, don't I have to bulldoze them all in the game first? That will be a problem since they are so prolific.

So is there anything I can tweak using the ilive reader to discourage them to grow?

Thanks!

If I were you I would analyze the Go Away Wren modd in the modding section and attempt to duplicate it for the house.

I made the Go Away Wren mod!1.gif What happened was the wealth of the Wren building was something like $1400. Most buildings it's size had wealths of $1100. I basically just changed it's wealth to $1100 so it wouldn't be able to destroy those buildings when it got built.

I had this trouble too. It's just a matter of having some competition for it.

Hello Evening.

Yes, you will have to bulldoze the lots in your game (All of them) and then remove them from your plugin folder in order for it to be removed in a proper fashion. Otherwise, it might cause crashes.
Or, you might consider after bulldozing it, keep about 2 out of the 6 tudor lots for it to show up less frequently. Thats -66%/.

Hope it helps.

You could try unchecking the building style that the Tudor Houses are in until the bulldozed lots fill in with something else.
