Problems with the No Grass Mod

Hello! I'm posting here because I'm having problems with the by sithlrd98. It didn't work at first with all my plugins, so I thought it was a compatibility issue and removed all my plugins, and installed anew only the mods required: Euro road textures and the NAM without any extra addons. Now, the roads, diagonal streets and intersections are working perfectly fine, but straight avenues and straight streets maintain their grass texture.

I've traced back the issue to the file "zzNetworkAddonMod_overrides.dat" and the readme file states: "zzNetworkAddonMod_overrides.dat should be placed in SimCity 4\Plugins\Network Addon Mod", which is exactly where I've placed it. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried placing it somewhere else in the plugin folder? I'm not terribly handy aronud the game mechanics, but that would be my advice. Put it in a folder called zzzzzzzzNoGrassMod or something, so it gets loaded last, then see if it works. If not, screw me. :D

I think this mod doesn't work with the Euro Textures, since they both overwrite the same files.

If I have time, I think I should write a guide on how to get it to work with EURO textures. It actually works but the loading order is just very tricky and I found it frustrating. It's a lot of trial and error. I also used a few Japanese mods and SimCityChina Mods.

@ hotChocolate : The loading order is very tricky. What does your NAM folder look like?

I've got all the files that come by default with the NAM installation and zzNetworkAddonMod_overrides.dat at the main folder, then the Additional Bridges and Documentation subfolders as by default, and in the plugins folder I have the CanAM, Custom menus, diagonal streets, FLUPS, GLR, high ELrail and Monorail, URail, one way road arrows reduction, overpass update, roundabouts, avenue TLAs, Wide Radius Curves and SFBT darker rail textures plugins, as well as the overrides for diagonal streets, roundabouts and avenue TLAs that come with the mod.

Do you have a screen shot? You might be missing the Euro overrides.

    This is the NAM folder:

This is my NAM Plugins folder:

I placed the Euro Overrides provided by the mod in the SFBT Euro Mod folder though...

Hellken's answer was help you, hotChokolate? I have a same problem like you. :(

I downloaded Sithlord's sidewalk "no grass" mod, which says it needs to be placed in Pluggins/NetworkAddonMod/Pluggins... But I can't seem to locate a sub-pluggins folder in the NAM32 folder. I love the way these mods look on other people's CJ's, but I can't get it to work at all.

I'm also trying to use Swamper 77's sidewalk mod for no grass, but can't get that one to work either.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

The loading order for NAM 32 is different. The NAM team changed how diagonal roads work, but it is still possible.

I'll share my loading order and post some pictures soon.

I made a file listing of my loading order using JR Directory Printer. It's a text file and it looks very messy to read. I think that will only cause more confusion. Is there an easier way to show my loading order on Simtropolis?

This is just an overview. There is a specific loading order for the files and subfolders. I did not include that yet here.
