NAM not working properly

I have downloaded and installed the network add-on mod for my simcity 4 deluxe, but when i go onto the list of roads and trains nothing new is there?

Have you checked your items again in the transit menus? If it's right, you'll now also have:

• Avenue Roundabouts (if checked in the installer)
  
• Wide Radius Curves for road and rail (if checked in the installer)
  
• Turning Lane Expansion Plugin (if checked in the installer)
  
• Overpasses/Underpasses for Road, Rail, Oneway Roads and Avenues
  
• Ground Lightrail, Tram-in-Road, Tram-on-Street, Tram-in-Avenue
  
• Diagonal streets
  

Also, make sure that the Network Addon Mod is installed in My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins/Network Addon Mod

I reinstalled it and made sure it was installed in My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins/Network Addon Mod but there are still no changes

You probably are missing the EP1 update to the game. Check your installation in Program Files. Navigate to the executable with windows explorer and: (win7|vista) hover over the file SimCity 4.exe; (other windows) right click open properties and the version tab. If the build version is less than 1,1,638 you need this update. This is noted in the NAM documentation in the installation section.

The EP1 update can be found in the EA Support section at SC4Devotion.

i updated the game with the EP1 update and went back onto it and still nothing new

What exactly were the steps you used to install the NAM?

I got the link from simtropolis to download it from Mod Database. I downloaded it from ModDB. I then extracted the files to C:\Users\\Downloads\NetworkAddonMod_Version30_Windows_Setup (2). After that i went onto the Network add on set up and installed it to C:\Users\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\Network Addon Mod. I then ticked all of the features i wanted and then clicked install. It said i installed it correctly and i read the read-me.

Well, that sounds like it should have worked. Could you please post an image of your Network Addon Mod folder contents? Also, by any chance do you have any nonstandard options in your SC4 shortcut (such as "-UserDir")?
