Since I've installed RH my avenues don't show only the medians and some of my buildings (Large Elementary School) are red, blue & green but no building. Can someone help please.

In the graphics options, set 'City Deatail' to high.

Woah!  That's bizzare.  I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before.  The only thing I can think of is that those colors are the same colors in a region config.bmp file.

That is kinda strange, something like that happened to me once, try moving the screen, I'm sure you've done that though. Get rid of plugins, and if nothing works, reinstall the game, you might have to lose those cities though. Good luck with that.

The only thing to do for this is update your graphics card/driver.

What I will say now will probably help. Did you have Sim City 4 before RH? Or did you buy it as the double pack?

What do you use for graphics on your pc?
What version of pc is it?

Is your RAM low or does the game tend to flicker on and off?

    Wow! The infamous Triple Poster!

This happened to me with a couple buildings. Try looking in your recycle bin, if you accidentaly deleted the pictures, they may be in there. I don't know how mine fixed itself, but it is fine now, so it may fix itself, but other than that, I don't know. Maybe it is the city file itself? Try a new city, and see if that happens.

Maybe now would a good time to say that I have a similar problem. When I build an avenue under an elevated highway the games asks if you want an onramp. So I click yes and sections of the onramp appear red, green, and blue just the picture bobmich58 posted. Odd isn't it, it sticks out like sore thumbs in my city. Anyways I don't what is causing it, and I have set all graphics settings to high.

This usually happens with a crappy/messed-up graphics card, but reinstalling should fix it. It happened to me once, and reinstalling fixed it. I would get a new card if I were you. Can you give us your specs of your current graphics card?

I had similar issues earlier myself. Some buildings showed up bright green when playing a medium map. The issue got fixed along with several other problems when I rolled back to 53.04 NVidiot drivers (cruddy old Atholon with GF5700FX running Win98, don't laugh [:0]). The buildings that suffered from the green disease were Elementary School and the medium sized firestation. This happened with the vanilla SC4 so the issue seems to be something older than RH.

Oddly enough the newer NV drivers and my sad old comp. just simply refuse to work together but 53.04 is rock solid unless I get ambitious and try playing a big city on a large map. Progress my
