Yup I'm looking forward to Need for Speed and SimCity.

I also hope Blizzard announces Heart of the Swarm's release date. The Starcraft II expansion has been in development for 3 years... must be some kind of record for just an expansion.

...And of course the Wii U. :)

E3 started today; tomorrow is the SimCity special.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

Anyone excited about Watch Dogs as much as I am?

ABSOLUTELY. I came into the Ubisoft Conference just in time to see that, and currently thats the talk of the show. I must have that game. *throws money at screen*

Also Sim City. Even if I'm a big Halo fan, Sim City is much more wanted in my books. Actually probably gonna pre-order it soon.

I don't know if Gamespot is trying to fool us, but here is a link to one page of all of there e3 games: http://e3.gamespot.com/games.html?page=4

Nope, your eyes aren't fooling you, it says gta v for ps3 and xbox in there and if you click on the title, it has "e3 2012 featured game" above it. Maybe we will see something about gta v today but more than likely tomorrow.

There is also a site where you can pre-order games, and they have a special for e3 games only, gta v also having the special. I don't know if this all will indicate a secret surprise tomorrow, but if nothing comes, I'm sure people will be pretty upset.

Well, I only could only see the Nintendo conference, when I was aiming at the Sony and Ubisoft ones too, but meh.

The Wii U seems interesting, though it's launch games are not very appealing, ZombiU, Assasin Creed III and New Super Mario Bros. U seem to be the best I will find on release from my part, though there are other things announced, but most is casual gaming... and Nintendoland, of course, that looks a bit like a Little Big Planet and Wii Party hybrid with some sort of family-aimed minigames.

IMO, the best part was Pikmin 3 there, as I didn't like much the 3DS announcements.

And since I couldn't see the rest of the conferences, I lost most of the other console announcements. I don't think I lost much on Microsoft though, it was almost entirely about Kinect for sure.

Mithrik, Mithril with a k instead of a l, how original, huh?

Nintendo is certainly taking a big risk with the WII U. They do seem to have some good ideas though, the Miiverse seems pretty cool, and I also like the Pro Controller. They have done a good job of targeting both casual and hardcore gamers.

The launch games aren't that bad. There's always room for improvement of course.

It was confirmed before the conferences that Rockstar would not be at E3.

Also, I'm looking forward to using the WiiU outside. MUCH more convinent than dragging the ole' flatscreen out there. That or when I have to go to the bathroom. Great substitute for Angry Birds

I feel like I'm a slave to Nintendo. Whenever they release a new console, I feel compelled to buy it. This is different with the WiiU, though. The only reason I'd want to buy it is for the new SSB and SMB games and the new features involving the gamepad.

In my opinion, trying to expand the WiiU to FPS and more violent games is a bad idea. First of all, it's fact that Nintendo is a family game-based company. Their consoles and games aim to entertain the whole family, so the WiiU just isn't fit for FPS, etc. Sencond of all, most people will buy FPS and more violent games, such as ACIII, on the Xbox 360, which is much more popular for hardcore gamers. For example, on the list that Zulu posted earlier, ACIII has 36 followers for the PC, 18 for the PS3, a mere 2 for the WiiU, and 4,294,967,295 for the Xbox 360.

I really must get an Xbox 360. I'm used to PC games and playing games on the PC, but my laptop just isn't cutting it.

Games I'm considering buying (when they come out):

    • SimCity
    • NSMB 2
    • NSBM U
    • Tomb Raider
    • Watch Dogs
    • Dishonored
    • (Maybe ACII; I have not played any of the others)

It really depends on the rating of these games, though. I have to convince my parents to let me play a M-rated game, since I am only 14. I'm surprised they let me play Skyrim.

Considering every single one of the conferences was about "family games", nitendo isn't really the only company that does that anymore. I'm inclined to say the company that does it good, but that's still debatable. Nevertheless I do want a WiiU when It comes out...

I really want, in order; Assassins Creed 3, Watch Dogs, B3yond, The Last of Us, Far Cry 3, and Sim City... though I really don't want to buy from EA.

And the Elder Scrolls Online Gameplay Preview makes me want to get it: http://www.g4tv.com/videos/59043/the-elder-scrolls-online-e3-gameplay-demo/

Don't think my current PC would be able to handle it though.

Got to say, when I read about the game "The Last of Us" I was really put off by the storyline but seeing the game showcased has me a little more interested in it now.

I normally only do military FPS, TPS and Sports games, Anything with a supernatural or science fiction aspect usually puts me off.

Halo is returning to the masses! I never thought I'd be so happy to see the Covenant again. But this time, they're the least of our worries. >_>

A lot of people wanted GTA V stuff there but Rockstar is off schedule. lol

Rockstar isn't off schedule, Rockstar NEVER attends E3...well I think they did it once many years ago but yeah E3 and R* aint no freinds.

There's been some rumors spread about a closed doors appearance of R* and GTAV but I doubt that's to be taken serious.

anyway, I'm most excited about The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed 3, Watch Dog and of course Sim City.
