I voted "nothing" in the first part because I don't know anything about UDI, don't care if it is 3D or not, and expect there would be zones(?). Don't want war and don't care about landmarks that just sit there and look pretty.

Online would be fine IF it were an option. I don't know anything about Origin, (aren't they all violators of trust and privacy?) but if being online connected is required to play the game I'll just keep playing SC4.

I do not like 3D. It demands to much from your PC and it doesn't add anything to the game.

I do like war. Or to be more random: Real Life Events like disasters.

Maybe some folks are bombarded enough with real life disasters whether in person or on the news. Many find SC to be an escape and a place to relax and mellow out. After hours spent building, planning, and improving a city I have no desire to see it obliterated simply "for fun." Frankly it seems a little immature to me, and makes me wonder if such activity could not progress into real life activity (?). If you enjoy blowing up your towns and cities then go ahead but please don't require I do so. I prefer peace and serenity with happy healthy Sims. The news has more disaster than I care for.

What is the point of disasters if game saves are automatic and on a cloud, preventing you from reloading previous versions of your city?

To me, disasters are most fun if you save a game before disasters are unleashed. After the disasters are unleashed, you can go back to the previous save (pre-disasters). To do that, saving your city on your hard drive is a must. However, greedy EA does not allow that for now.

I agree, if we can't reload from previous saves then there isn't really much of a point of putting in disasters, at least for me. I enjoyed leveling my cities with all sorts of disasters but I would never save after. On rare occasion I might have kept going after my town got hit by a single meteor or something small but that is it.

I even would like to play SimCity online, since this would not be forced, that is, while I could also play offline. So I did not vote neither positive nor negative about the online.
