Without the Nam it is not possible to make 90 degree sharp turns with the elevated rail. When I try it, the tiles stay red. After installing the new Nam, the T-intersection and sharp corners turn brown. But they are not visible after they are built. Please help!!!

Have you tried removing all of your plugins except NAM? Perhaps something has altered it.

The problem, if you wanna call it that, is NAM 30 itself.

My guess is that none of those crossings make any sense for El-Rail, and that they're intended for use for draggable GLR functionality.

Think about it; That's far too narrow for a 90-deg curve.

It is happening even after a complete reinstallation. Without NAM its not even possible to drag the track, after new NAM installation it gets brown but does not appear. No other plugins have been put in the plugin folder after reinstallation, and even with my plugins its still the same.

As Ganaram mentioned, that junction wasn't "built" into the NAM, being deemed too unrealistic, and can't be made in the unmodded game. The same is true for 90 degree curves. They were made possible with GLR due to typically slower speeds and shorter trams at ground level.

You'll need to make these modifications...

Mind you, these workarounds were neccessary in the base game. Maxis never made sharp 90° curves for ElRail or Monorail and we've never seen enough Real Life examples to warrant the inconvenience of implementing them.

90o turns are really impossible for rail systems in general. The rolling stock will derail if you try that. Did you never have an electric train set when you were young? In truth, rail curves are segments of spirals, so even the circle segments in the game are not very good.

I just thought Elrail has been adjusted to the subway 90 degree turns. When Elrail is using the same trains like subway, why not? Ok, if this not possible, I will just skip this transport system again...
