I tried searching the library for more tree variations but can't find any.

Any tips?

Also tried the "Maxis tree replacement mod" that should instagrow trees, but it made A LOT of trees in my entire city everywhere so I had to remove it. Any other plugins like it?

Come on, i know you can put more effort in your research. Just type tree, flora, whatever in the STEX... I mean, i've been looking for tens of pages to download stuff, i don't think it is that difficuilt.

If you mean trees like you can paint in god mode, CycleDogg and Heblem come to mind immediately. Just hover over their names in my post, select "Find Content" on the popup window that appears, and then click on ST/Exchange in the pane on the left side of the page that says "by content type"

CycleDogg made a large variety of trees and terrain mods, mostly based on the western US. He also has some more stuff at the SC4Devotion LEX; {here is a link}.

Heblem also made a large variety of trees and terrain mods, mostly based on regions of Mexico.

The only one I found was CycleDogg, but I can only put one down at a time. Or I can draw a line with them but it makes it look pretty bad spraying 1 by 1 in an area.

A site I found said you could use it with god mode. But when I enter god mode, clicking ctrl+alt+shift and go into the trees. I only get one type of tree, the standard ones which I can spray all over the map.

How do you use CycleDoggs trees this way?

There is no way I could fill an entire city drawing tree lines.

    What trees are these? http://community.sim...7-green-valley/

Found some trees by simfox too, but they are also 1 by 1.

I think - Mr.Paeng worked with some Pegasus trees and with MTP and SPAM serials .... You can see it on Simpeg.com site or post this question for Mr.Paeng ...

And there are many trees on Simtropolis and SC4 Devotion. You can find it - if You try this ...

    Good luck ...

In addition to PEGs pine tree mod for terrain, I have four or five other types of trees, but they require mayor mode planting.

Is there any way to put down trees like the god mode that are not the standard trees?

I see screenshots with pine forests that have 10000000 trees in a huge tile. There is no way this person put down each tree 1 by 1. That would take days.

You don't have to place them one by one. If you keep pressing the mouse button and moving it around, you'll get many trees plopped.

If you hold down Ctrl+Shift+Alt and click on the God mode button, you will be brought back to it. You can then plop many trees at no cost to you.

I doubt this guy spent a week drawing trees with the mouse:

Your search of Simtropolis hasn't turned up the God Mode tree controlelrs you are seeking because they are not hosted here. You need to register at the SC4Devotion Lot Exchange (aka, the LEX) and once you're logged in, click on "Power Search" at the top center of the page, then from the "Creator/Designer" drowp-down list choose "c.p." (Cycledogg is also known as cyclepuppy, or c.p. for short), and click the Submit button to see everything he's uploaded. On the first page you'll find some terrain mods and two tree controllers, plus two of the main dependencies for most tree controllers; on the second page you'll find more terrain mods & tree controllers and another important dependency (BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01). Lots of other nice stuff is available, too. Keep in mind, though, that these tree controllers require many dependencies or you'll plant brown boxes all over the landscape. You can find all but the on the LEX by using the Power Search function or the Google search field in the left column of the LEX main page. For some of the trees in Paeng's Green Valley City Journal, you'll have to sign up at SimPeg, as mentioned (Pegasus made the pine trees). For the others, check out the files uploaded by VIP Team here on the STEX, or search for "Girafe" and "Orange_o_" on the LEX.

    Have fun planting forests!

Actually, I use PEGs Pine Trees Mod, and it works just fine for me. I like my forests like the ones around here which are mostly evergreen.
