Nightlight problem

Ok Some of my buildings i have in my game that i downloaded dont seem to be having any light at night even tho in the page they show them with at least some light, ive already download it that patch update for the bat which is for nightlighting and still some of them dont work am i missing something else? if i do can anyone plzz tell me??

Did you try a cold boot? Sometimes all this needs a full reset.

I don't get night lights on most of my downloaded buildings for some reason either. I have downloaded the patch from the official website, but still no night lights. I'm assuming some don't come with night lights, but I know some do, and they still don't light up. No idea why.

Well i don't have nightlighing ether and i have the update from maxis

i would say it's a problem with the game a bad file or something well

it happens sometimes.

Thanks Again Hordijk that fixed my problem i wish i new about

that file before, i have been a sim city 4 and rush hour product registered

user at sim city.ea.com for 2 years or so now and i don't know how i

missed it,but now i got the nightlighting(finally) and it looks great on all the

sc4rh bats and this should help everyone who has nightlighting problems.

My whole downtown suddenly stopped night-lighting()!!! I downloaded the BAT Update AND the normal update, and it doesn't work! Any help?

what exactly "doesn't work"? we need details of the specific issue and what steps you have taken so far to solve it

Well, it worked before. It's not the plugins folder. I know that. It suddenly decided to don't give the light anymore. I downloaded the update + bat update again and it still doesn't work.

Order of installation matters here.  You may have to reinstall the game:

1. Save your plugins and regions to the desktop
2. Uninstall the whole thing.
3. Clean up - diskcleanup, defragment
4. Boot
5. Install SC4 - no patches
6. Install RH
7. Install update 1
8. Install bat nightlight patch
9. reinstall your plugins and regions

If you have Deluxe, steps 5 and 6 are one step.

I installed the BAT update. The lights are working fine. But now some of my textures went missing. and some some details are no longer present. All my parks are plain green areas. You can see no airplanes, and people anymore in the airport. Can some one tell me how to fix this bug. Thank You.
