Several. If you are not a programmer, I suggest the SC4 Tool.

If you want to get down on the iron and scratch, check in the STEX for the Reader by ilive.

Well, it freezes in WIN7 64 bit. Isn't there something simple, not a full toolbox to change every aspect of the game. Isn't there something simple?? Sorry, but a tool with 12 choices isn't simple. I want to open a lot, look at the jobs/cost/plop value and maybe change them, that's all.

The Sc4Tool is the most simple thing there is. Here's the most used solution to the problem you're having:

    1. Right click on the SC4Tool desktop shortcut.

    2. Select "Properties"

    3. Select the Compatibility Tab

    4. Under settings, select "Disable Desktop Composition"

    5. Select OK

I ran as administrator, tried compatibility to WIN XP SP2, freezes. This can't be this hard to find a simple tool, I don't want to USE this one.

Does it really freeze? Maybe you are missing some run-time libraries. Do you have .NET framework 1.1, which is required? You can download it from Microsoft free.

You are actually entering an area of programming. It is never simple, and it has a serious learning curve. What are you trying to do? Maybe there are other solutions.

I hope you read and understood both the download page and the readme.

Do you have to option to use Windows XP SP3? As the most updated there's a better chance it will work.

Any tool that could be used to change the stats of transit lots? I'd like to know because I use the NAM with ultra capacity, and a lot of the stuff available on the STEX (particularly train stations and toll booths) is intended for much lower capacities.

I found LEProp, does what I need it to do. Not compicated, and game hacking isn't programming, it's hacking. Take care.

I am stuck with Vista (ugh) and the SC4 Tool worked fine (with the right fixes) until about 6 months ago when our

wonderful friends at MS put an new update in my machine. I tried the "Disable Desktop Composition" trick suggested

for Windows 7 but no luck.

The tool appears to start just fine but when I select the TE editor it just hangs. Little hour glass that never goes away.

Any ideas ? I really like this tool for TE and textures and would really not have to put together my old XP desktop machine

    just to use this tool.

    BTW, I really hate MS.

Believe in only what you can prove.
