SC4Tool crashes when I click on a pull-down menu. Help?

You know the bar at the top of the tool, that has the File, Analysis, Editors, Extras, Options, etc?

When I click on them, or any other pull-down menu in general in SC4Tool, the entire program freezes up.

Does anyone know why?

Sometimes, you can right click the program in your documents, and go to properties, then put it in compatibility mode, this works with me.

I tried that, but I am the administrator, and it still didn't work.

    What should I choose?

    What should I choose?

You want to select the "Disable desktop composition" option on the Compatibility tab. That should be all you need to change.
