Twice in NAM

Excuse me for my english. I've a problem with the NAM. I installed WIN7 and SC4 deluxe whitout any mods. I've installed NAM from his setup file, and it don't work. I try to find the folder and I look that is installed in C:Users/Myfolder...etc. I had try to cut and paste the plugins folder in user in the plugins folder (first empty) in C:Program/maxis/Sc4 etc...

Now the game read the NAM, but every icons appear two time. Somebody can help me?

It sounds like you have two copies of NAM in the game. If you have it in the My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder, you do not need to paste it into the Program Files folder. Remove that one and run the game to see if the NAM pieces show up. If you see the NAM pieces in the game, then you may not have been looking in the right place for the files.

The NAM installed from his setup don't work, well, it's installed in plugins folder in mydocument..etc, but tha game don't see it.

I tried to cut and paste, don't copy and paste, I don't know where is the second copy.

This is my problem. Now I have reinstalled sc4 deluxe and NAM plugins in C:Program/Maxis/SC4Deluxe/Plugins I've looked and there are only this patch files in my hard disk.

You've definitely got two NAM installations. Have you done a system search for an additional "Network Addon Mod" folder?

Hmmm... Both of those entries seem normal enough - one for the game files and one for the Start Menu entry. Perhaps the other NAM folder was renamed to something else. Have you tried a search for one of the specific files in the NAM folder?

Also, perhaps there are folders that are "hidden" from view in Win7. Are you using a computer account with administrator rights. I don't know much about the file structure of Win7, so I'm not too sure what else to suggest.

Try checking the Virtualstore and the game's install directory as well.

Also, have you DatPacked your files? If so, the second NAM could be hiding in there.

One of those locations says that it's in a Roaming Profile. Are you in a computer environment that uses a Server like Windows Server 2003/2008? Sounds like you may have installed it on the computer and again linked to your specific account.
