    Hey all,

I just installed my first mod which is the NAM. The problem is all my existing cities are in the black prior to install of NAM. After the install they all go in the toilet. Sample is a medium sized city with about 200,000 sims, plenty of jobs and all, with a monthly income of about 2000 simoleans. After installing NAM the city went from +2000 simoleans to -11,000 simoleans. As soon as I uninstall NAM everything goes back to normal (+2000 simoleans).

So whats up? Any Ideas? I haven't a clue, I looked around and saw nothing in here about this problem.

    Thanks

Could you upload a screenshot of your money-stats before and after installing NAM?

I haven't had any problems with it and I haven't heard it before on simtropolis.

It's probably subways. I think the NAM multiplies subway expenses by 6 or something. It's more realistic that way (and forces you to be more judicious with where you put your subway rails and stations).

    Hey guys back again,

So it ended up doing the same thing, I installed NAM again and opened up a small city with no subways. My monthly income took a huge bite again. So Now I'm really confused. I will attach two png screenshots of one before NAM and one after. I hope this helps so we can fix this. But for now I won't be running NAM.

The region I'm working on is complete, but I'm trying to work up my total population to 12 million. Which It looks like I will be able to do without the NAM installed anyway for now.

By the way this is SC4 Deluxe version.

    Thanks again guys

    Hey All

It's possible about the subways I do have them in just about every city in the region and pretty thick in some. As in the sample above it's one of the cities that does a very dense subway system. I do have a couple of the small cities that do not have subways at all. I will reinstall NAM this weekend and see what happens in one of the small ones. If the monthly income takes a bit like in the others I will upload a screenshot of the monthly income. And if it's as Zeth mentions that it's the subways that's causing the problem I may not bother with NAM for this region. I'm planning a new region in the very near future and will reinstall NAM for that one and go from there. Probably not use the subways or just as Zeth said to be very tight with them.

    Thanks Guys
