This is impressive, I love the nightlighting and roof. I'd love to add this all over my city. You going to show us the lot later on?

Looks really good man! The only thing I can see is that the tan AC units have nice protrusions, but perhaps you could add a little cutout too? I see that sometimes, like the triangular one on the right:

That's being really nitpicky, though. I'm really bad with roof junk, though, so it's probably a case-by-case basis anyway. I gotta say, this is a really solid BAT I especially like the neon lighting! Here's hoping you can finish before school starts!

FOR NIGHTLIGHTING THE INSIDE:

use omni lights on the inside but rename them to "nitelite_omni01","nitelite_omni02" etc. it just has to have the "nitelite" part of it in it and then it will be used for nightlighting!

(this can be used with any light other than omni lights btw)

that is not needed in 3dsmax Subbub and omnis are usually not the best out there I think free lights are better

Oh my god, you are releasing the KFC and you are beginning on Starbucks! Wow, I love the look of the Starbucks. The detail is so amazing, just make sure you plan to make metal lines of that roof. I love the brick and everything. Just one tiny thing on the KFC, could you add a few more concrete gritty things to the roof. Like just make it a tiny bit more darker or add a few small blotches? Other than that it looks fantastic.

So another update i'm on a roll After closer inspection of the roof I found out that it is black. So I made a black version just to see and I ended up liking it, almost more than the green so I need some help deciding again

Whoa, nice. I prefer black, it isn't too colorful. you're textureing is really superb, for a second BAT, I'd think this is like your 20th BAT, you really can BAT. Black is good, maybe dark green. I love it. Can't wait to see the interior later on, maybe add black and white floors?

The Starbucks should be finished by monday! Both the KFC and Starbucks should be uploaded next week if I figure out how to export right.

So now I think it's time to unveil the next project: Safeway! There really hasn't been any grocery stores since simgoober and we all know how long ago that is so I think its time for something new!

Sounds interesting, I was just going to plop Simgoobers but then your idea came up, it sounds very useful. I really need a Bi-Lo and a Harris Teeter but Safeway is something I think other people may like also. As far as which one to use I like the 3rd one, it looks different. What ever you choose. I can't wait for the Starbucks and KFC, they are going to look so amazing.

The starbucks is looking good I am not sure about the roofing material looks a bit too clean and reflective to me. Also it seams as the beams are not all equidistant, is this supposed to be like this?

Look great, I like the black roof.

For KFC I think you need to fix the grey texture for the roof junk it does not look right to me much. I think it need to look more metal.

I love it, maybe add maybe a vent in the back of the Starbucks in that flat roof area? The roof looks good. And in the back of the building, you should add a driver thru if haven't and maybe add a few lines of pipes down the back.

Since I'm having a hard time exporting and gmax problems could I possibly send my KFC 3ds max file to someone so they can export it for me then send it back to me for lot editing and distribution? I'm afraid if no one will do it for me it will be a while before I upload it.

IDS2: Thanks bro lol i'm glad to see such excitement for my creations, for a while I was second guessing if I should bat or not. Okay to the problem at hand now, I don't know if it's me not doing the LODs right or gmax not working right but after I export my LODs to gmax and then import them I cant edit the LODs again in gmax because the B.A.T tab in the utilities tab wont open. so i'm stuck with my LODs in gmax.

Yeah on the real building there are three ac vents or hvac or whatever they are called lol. But I'm going to put 3 on the flat roof just like the real thing. I'm going to save it for after I model though because roof junk takes a while for me I guess (:
