Given that I'm going to be away until next weekend, I've had to push forward this year's Christmas update to today, the eve of Christmas eve.

This is Colganston, in winter.

Colganston has always been personified as a fighter. A tough guy, with street cred, walking around with tattoos on his arm and a heavy leather bikers' jacket, but with a heart of pure gold. It's also been considered to have a Napoleon complex, which would explain it's usually-friendly, sometimes vicious competitiveness with Centreburg, and this tough-guy personality shows in the city's architecture and urban culture.

Colganston has always had a noticeably different feel compared to the more modern cities of Freedo and Centreburg.

Some have even compared it to New York.

It seems that the streets here today are particularly quiet. But then again it is the weekend.

When night falls, the streets light up in celebration of the Christmas spirit.

The decorations lend some contrast to the darkness of the night sky and the warmth of the lamps at home.

So here's to a white Christmas this year. Merry Christmas folks

So I've been away for a long time without an update, sincere apologies for that. I'ved moved to Australia to study, so unfortunately that meant I couldn't update for a long time. But anyway I'm back and what better way is there to start than with a mosaic?

More of Colganston (I'll be honest - I haven't touched Solando in forever cause I haven't had motivation to do it, which means you'll see a lot more of Colganston in the coming updates).

 

 

Bourke Avenue is one of the main thoroughfares that exist in the city, helping to link the Cross-Island Highway to the city centre. What's unique about the avenue is the daily market that borders the avenue, selling everything from souvenirs to tourists to fresh fruits.

 

 

Government Park is where the main buildings of the Colganstonian State Government are. North of the Park is the main cathedral in the city, christened after the city's patron saint St. Mark. Another market, this time Central Market, a much bigger market with a greater variety of goods, and you can sometimes see the State Premier rush down to get a cup of coffee between meetings.

 

Anyway, in tribute to the release of SC2013, I've paid a littlle homage int he images. Wonder if anyone notices them... ^^
