Hello, all,

It has come to our attention that a glitch in the server is causing a "No Access" error to come up when folks are trying to log in. It seems to be similar to the screen message upon a ban, causing some confusion among the members. It appears to be intermittent in nature, so it may be there one time, and not the next. If members have been banned, they will be notified through the e-mail system.

Haven't had that one, but sometimes in the middle of a session, I get a denial of service such that my next transmission times out. If it happens to be a post, I've usually been able to recover the message from my browser, save it and post it later. However, you seem to have these on a three or four times a week basis, usually about mid-day.

Since I am likely to want to get on the system any time of day whatever, it would be nice if you published your backup times.

When I try to have two windows with simtropolis open, or navagate to a diffrent part of the site right after the page I was on previously loads a message reading ''[#2000] You are not allowed to visit this forum'' appears. Any idea what it might be?

It was displaying that error yestarday, but now it's fine on my machine, excpet that there is this message:

Yeah, I did but my problem seemed diffrent - the 1st post was about logging on (I think!), while I was having trouble doing anything at all.

EDIT: Seems to be fixed - it's all good now!

Pheewww! I'm so glad I'm not banned! I experienced this #2000 error on Monday, I was totally freaked at first; not even a single window, single tab worked. Now (Saturday) I tried again and it's ok, but I thought it's because my IP address changed (by DHCP). Until I read this thread at least. I wish good luck fixing this problem, I know from experience what a b*tch hassle looking for bugs can be...

...Access has been restored for me, today -yesterday momentarily, as I have also been denied via the 'error 2000 access denied' all week ... I'm just glad I am not in the proverbial sim-doghouse ... so I am also glad someone fixed it... Thank-you

hmmm i getting them severely but instead it just wont load simtropolis as if i had no internet still to this day is it my browser i use firefox 4.0 hmmmm

Thanks for looking into this. I kept getting the #2000 error message when I tried to connect from home, but connecting from work was just fine. Kind of an odd duck.

I'm taking this must be different then, but when will people with problems relating to '[#2000] You are not allowed to visit this forum' be resolved. I've been having this problem for about 3 months now. It's good to know I'm not the only one having this problem btw. I seriously thought this was an issue with my isp. This issue is more than intermittent and I've tried to at least voice this once, but only once. I did not post again since I more than often get this '[#2000] You are not allowed to visit this forum' error.
