    Welcome to page 5 !!!

Wow, already page 5, in only one week! I had never thought about this topic growing that fast.
Thank you very much to all of you for getting this along!

    Peng74:
Thank you for your words. Yes, it is a nice station.
    And about the new region:
I have worked a little bit on the west coast. I like the steep shore now. What do you think?

    Gryphonite:
Thank you, too. I am glad that you like the attempt to realism.

Nice bit of terraforming. Yeah, like the steep western shore, your not gonna get much development there, but there looks a nice place on the eastern shore. 2.gif

    Good work.

No, there won't be much developement on the western shore. But inside the bay there is plenty of buildable land.

    Mikeaut1:
Hey, welcome back. I am glad that you like the terraforming. And thank you for the congratulation.

    And now a small update.

New mines in the eastern hills

Together with the rail a new kind of business has found its way to our village. Two new mines have been erected in the hills east to the town.

    This is the first one:

    aukvillage13p15xv.jpg

    Another picture of it:

    aukvillage13p27av.jpg

And behind the hills you can see the second one:

    aukvillage13p30sb.jpg

Here is a better picture of it:

    aukvillage13p46kr.jpg

That's it for now. I said that it is a small update only.

    More coming soon.

And don't forget to leave a comment!

    The rail line is completed

Well, this time I will only put one image here. It shows the most eastern part of the new rail line, at the other side of the hills.

This is the completion of the rail series.

    c11jun60311251051274ae.jpg

Ok. After the rail line is finished, what do you want to see next? Or is there something you think should be build in the village?
    Let me know your opinion!

I was just going to say it'd be cool to see a fishing village of sort, but I see this new terrain (same region) you're working on....where are you planning to take this? Are you going to stay in the same style?

What a great couple updates I have missed. The pics are superb, the railways through the wilderness especially.

Someone needs to make a mod that gets rid of those annoying yellow and black baracades at the ends of streets and roads. They look really awkward, even worse on the dirt streets.

    Can't wait for another update29.gif

Nice update barnatom, lovin the mines.

Perhaps with this new industry, the village will now blossom into a small down.
Maybe the Mining Company should establish an office in the village? 37.gif

Thank you all for visiting and commenting!

    freedo50:
Thank you. And yes, the mines look like USA. But there are no others out here.

    jbridgman:
Hey, another post. Thank you! I will use many different styles in the new region. There will be quite large cities, too. (If I ever finish the terraforming.)

    jacqulina:
Thank you very much! Nice to see you here again. And I am glad that you like the details.

    mteach2000:
Yes, it has been some time since your last visit. But I am glad that you are back and that you like the new developement. And thank you for leaving a post.

    Peng74:
You are one of my most frequent visitors! Due to your suggestion, the mining corporation is already considering to establish a small local office in the village. But nothing is decided yet.

There will be some more pictures up here shortly. So - stay tuned.

My original post was by no means offensive. I just wanted to thank you for visiting this journal so often.
And thank you for this post, too. It is good to know that someone out there has an interest in the village.

So here is another update. It is a rather big one. I hope you will like the newly introduced subject.

First I have to show you an image, that doesn't belong anythere special. But since it shows an area near to the eastern rail line I will post it here as an annex to the rail series. The local landfill:

    aukvillagep15p13li.jpg

And now, with this is out of the way, up to the next chapter:

    The canal system

The next image shows the canal entering the grounds of the village at the western border:

    aukvillagep15p28ix.jpg

I will simply post some pictures of the area in no particular order:

    aukvillagep15p54tu.jpg

    aukvillagep15p64hy.jpg

    And some close-ups as well:

    omg thats great!

i especially like your use of the NAM piece next to the canal lock, it really suits. I think that you have a great talent for producing natural looking cities/towns/villages.

    Kepp up the good work!35.gif35.gif

    Wow.

First if all that idea of making a village just with Gascooker - great! I do love his bats to. But then you showed us that you a really master in landscaping too! I love how you put that railway there! (Did I mentioned I love railways?)

That canal looks great too! Haven't used them lately since I normally have quite hilly regios but ...

    Keep 'em coming!

    Hello dear visitors

I am sorry, very sorry, that due to real life I will be unable to post any updates for some days. I am moving to another town, so everything is messed up a bit...

    freedo50:
Thank you for these very nice words. This will help me to keep this CJ up.

    Peng74:
I thought it migh be a joke, but since I am not that familiar with the english language, I had to ask.
And thank you for commenting again!

    Shadow_Assassin:
I am glad you like the village!

    Nardo69:
Thank you very much for this nice comment! I am glad you like the landscape, too!

    chocolatemax285:
Welcome to the village! I have seen your CJ, and I like it very much. Thank you for leaving a reply here.

Whenever it will be possible, I will post some new pictures here. So - stay tuned.

Amazing UK village, one of the best by far, but might I ask what is the point of the boats and lock with a bridge like that at the bottom? LOL how is that going to happen?

Thank you everyone for visiting and replying!

    SkyTearer:
Thank you for this nice reply! The bridge you mentioned is a draw bridge. It isn't easy to see, but I hope you will notice it on this image:

    Deathtoall:
Thank you for this compliment. Yes it is curious, me not being english making this kind of CJ. But it is due to gascooker and his exellent UK BATs that I started this project.

    pikatchoum:
You are allways welcome here! And thank you for your nice post.

I am sorry again. I am not able to post some new images here. Real life is going on.

So - you will have to wait a little bit longer.
