My lighting problem.

I dont know wat is wrong but barely any of my buildings have night-lights on them, even the ones that say they don't need any light dependencies. Only one downloaded building i know of has actual nite-lighting that works for me, the Corporate Enterprises building made by ALTX. So can anyone plz help me in this problem..... thx

You need to download the EP1 update and Update4BAT from the official SC4 site or from sc4devotion.com. You need a legal copy of SC4 for the updates to work properly.

If you check the properties of the game's exe file in the C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps folder, it should be version 1.1.640.0 if all patches were applied. If it is something else, then the patches were not installed.

Any luck with your night light problem? For some reason the updates weren't working for me. I backed up all my regions and plugins and reinstalled the game. After the reinstallation, I tried the updates again and this time they worked. If you have the same problem, you might have to reinstall your game to get the updates to work.
