Thanks for all the positive feedback! I appreciate it - this is my first time doing a proper CJ... Oh and on a side note, not all updates will be in the style set out in entry 01, that took a lot of time and effort to do properly

and afterall, this is only a prequel to a much larger and more complete Svar.

so lets start on the replies:

Mikey (Archean): Thanks a lot! The region will consist of mostly blank space or farmland - it would be an almost impossible feat to fill it.

Maxis wouldn't even know it was SC4 because of all the custom content i use anyway xD. Well my style was inspired by the cinematic styling in your own CJ, maybe i can develop a substantial plot line too.

Ded: Thanks ded!.. although I have my exams soon so this was probably a bad time to start a CJ xD

Jarlesburg is a small town east of Skjolde. It is infamous for the spring floods that rip through Der Zander river valley every spring. The floods make Jarlesburg infamous for its white water rafting and kayaking every March and April.

The Town lies on the recently completed N13, the major motorway between the western cities and the eastern oil and gas port of Brygger. During the construction of the mountain motorway, gas and oil pipelines were laid under the carriageways to transport oil from the west to the east were it is refined and pumped onto ships set for mainland Europe.

Back to Jarelsburg itself:

The town is reliant on wind power and when the wind does not blow there are small diesel generators in the fire station that provide power to the community of 300.

The main cross roads in town, from the south the N159, what used to be a major road between the north and the south has been replaced by the N17 motorway.
