Hi ya! I was downloading NHP's Augusta, Georgia region for SC4, while following the directions from the SC4 Omnibus, and I didn't get the hourglass and the rendering process like I was supposed to. So I'm confused. Do I rename the config bitmap to config.bmp and place it in the main folder, or the subfolder? Do I place the SC4M file in the main folder? Or the .jpg image thing? The diagram may help below.

Augusta, Georgia

* click on it. What comes up it this below:

Augusta, Georgia.zip

Augusta, Georgia 1.8 MB (file folder)

* another click

Augusta Georgia

*click on that folder.

Two .jpg files, a bitmap configuration, and the SC4M file.

It's confusing, but I hope you can make sense of it.  If you can help, thanks!

The [description] in the download includes instructions on how to get the map into the game...

Basically, the instructions on the Omnibus is for maps that use a grayscale .jpg to get the terrain in the game. But the map you downloaded uses a new filetype (.sc4m) to get the map into the game. .sc4m needs the SC4Mapper or SC4Terraformer to import the map into the game.

You can alternatively read [this tutorial] or [this one] on the omnibus. Instructions on running the Terraformer is [here].

I'm having issues rendering mas in SC4 on mac. Every map i render comes out under water. I thought that maybe I need a height mod and it turns out I did, but even still, most of the map is underwater. This happens with every map I try ( I've tried a couple). Has anyone else had this problem?
