Mass Transit Single Player

Plain and simple can I utilize all features of the game single player? I paid 50 bucks for this game last time and played it for ten mins. If I cant build a complext transit system single player its trash for me.

Yes. The online component of the original CXL was discontinued months ago and the new version is an exclusively single player game. So, you can build full mass transit systems in all your cities now.

Yup mass transit is included in SP: bus lines and subway lines.

I am talking about the 2011 game not the crash and burn version of the old one? I am hoping that the new game is sustainable in all aspects of play before buying it.

Yes Breeze, it is so far as you can use all the features the game has curently without paying additionally.

However, be aware that there is still no rail (trains); there is only metro (underground and elevated).

for the life of me i cannot see trains in either of the cities games i have [xl-xl2011]

am i doing some thing wrong or do they come in after a certain point?

i use sandbox and unlocker 3--still no trains.

(really want to use them for frieght-people haulers.

does the new ver have park and ride for the busses?

Trains are only eye candy for now. Park and ride versions are not in the game yet and is questioned if it will ever be.

Trains can be made to show up on at grade or above ground metro tracks in Cities XL 2011.

.... but this doesn't change that they're part of the metro network, and not a train network.
