"Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes" (1984)

The most visually sumptuous of Tarzan films, filmed in the forests of Cameroon and in the great Victorian halls of Scotland. Again, actor Ian Holm shows that he was awesome long before becoming Bilbo Baggins.

"Orca" (1977)

ORCAMOVIE.jpg

Like "Jaws" and Great White sharks, "Orca" made me as a child deeply fear killer whales.  It's no mere coincidence that the head of the xenomorph in the "Alien" series shares similarities to the heads of killer whales, and that the alien also has similar shrieks.  The gory orca pod murder scene also made me hate Richard Harris, who I know is really just an actor in role, but I will always associate him as the Captain Ahab wannabee who turned the deck of his boat into a slaughterhouse that no amount high-pressure water hosing could ever clean.  For a popcorn monster movie, this film also has a hauntingly sublime soundtrack.

Also, I'll also never go near the ocean while wearing a broken leg cast...watch the movie to see why!

"Rapa-Nui" (1994)

Rapa_Nui_film.jpg

Theocracy, civil war, deforestation, and desperate cannibalism bring apocalypse to the isolated civilization of Easter Island as the Moai are toppled.

Demolition Man (1993)

Zyzzyx Road

considered the worst movie in history (by money, though it is not. Hard to explain)

I'm sure the title for the worst movie belongs to Foodfight! (2012). It was supposed to be an animated movie and it was also supposed to be released in 2002. I've watched it for myself and Nostalgia Critic did a good job tearing the film apart. If you wanted to see how bad it could possibly be; do so at your own risk!
