This program is available in the mod section

This small program allows you to easily change some properties of any lots/BAT buildings. It doesn't require to be installed, just copy the two files of the zip in any folder and run it.
Three languages are available : english, german and french
Dont hesitate to give some feedback about what you want to be added or modified.

Warning
Don't forget to save the lots you plan to modify before using it.
Don't put this program in the same folder as the Reader or the Building Tweaker.


How to use it ?

Click on the open button, choose a lot file. The lot will appear in the list. If you click on a entry of the list, its content will be displayed in the right part.
You can modify the name, the description,the icon ... of the loaded lot. Some buttons on the right part of the screen allow you to modify police, firestation, school ... properties
When you modify one of these fields, the apply & rollback buttons become active.
Press the apply button to validate your modifications, otherelse press the rollback button.

Don't forget to press the Save button before exiting the program.

no need. It's a standalone program (avoid to put LEProp in the same directory than Reader)

Is there a function that allows to make a Lot network enabled ? I've just started to learn the Reader, and this stuff is still difficalt for me.

a new version (1.52) is ready

Lot can be easily transformed in civic buildings (or water and power buildings)
You just to enable one of the available section (police, medical, school...) : once done, you can add cost, replace the GUID of the lot by the GUID of the section...
The lot will also be placed in the right menu in sc4.

I've now downloaded LEProp 1.51 and today LEProp 1.52. The other day I made mention of the Monthly Cost/Income not working when playing the game after changing this information for a Casino that had an income that was WAY too high. So, I've tried a few other lots and am still having the same problem. Just to be sure, any other change I make works, eg: plop cost, lot description, bulldoze cost, radius stuff, etc. The only thing that isn't working is the monthly costs/income. The results when playing the game is that the lot has NO monthly cost nor monthly income. So, essentially it's free month after month. Any ideas?

Great work you have done but can a computer dummie use your new program and can 98 users use it?.Last is what does it do?.Sorry for so many question I ain't to bright with computers but I love Sim City.Thanx

Oh, forgot to mention that those lots that I've changed now have no monthly costs/income. So, to revert them back, I have to delete them and go and make them from scratch or copy them from the original that I hold in a separate folder. The programme won't even allow me to revert the lots to their original simolean amounts.

Even you will be able to use it! It is surprisingly simple! But I don't know if it will work on 98...

this tool works on any Windows system (perhaps even win 95 , but not prior win3.1)

iLive...thanks for checking this out. Does this programme stand alone or does it need another programme to work? Should I delete the older versions of LEProp? I don't have it in the same folder as the Reader or Tweaker. Sorry, I just can't figure this one out. And, as mentioned earlier I like this programme because it's so simple to use to quickly change things. I'm running Windows ME, and haven't had ANY problems running any other mods for Sims. I'll play with again and see what happens. Thanks!!

2 files are needed leprop.exe and or_dat.dll. As older versions of LEProp have the same name, you can overwrite them with the newer version.
I will be interested in one of your lot . Could you send me one of them via email (olivier-403@tele2.fr)?

Currently since we got ourselfs a new "site" the Modding & Downloads is still down it will be up sooner or later.
