It is not a bug. It is a feature that is required to improve performance. It would look better if these boxes were colored.

it would have helped if MC had brought it to people's attention, the first time I saw a box driving down the road I nearly re-installed the game thinking it was a horrible bug and it still makes me    when I see them

Check you have all the detail levels set to maximum...

About cars:

- high-poly at zoom 1

- low-poly at zoom 2

- box at zoom 3 and 4 (I think)

- nothing at zoom 5+

Absolutely correct, GlobexCo.

Every single computer that my extended family owns has the Intel® 965 Express Chipset, (I think that is what its called), except a few, which have older ones.

And now, I can only run the game on Low. 3D Trees infront of me but beyond, 2d.

Middle road line blurs out(!)

Buildings are good, go back a little, and then horrible graphics; the EXACT same graphics going back about 40 building spots.

Like, I don't want the same graphics I see from 5000metres away to be the same as 100metres away.

On the other hand, I get to see half 2D bad graphics trees, half 3D good graphics.

Low graphics setting is messed up.

If you are on zoom 4, change time of day to night and it looks better.

Two posts combined.  Please do not make posts one after the other unless you have new information to add.  If you will click the link that other members provided here, it will take you to a post that has a link at the bottom for a modd that may fix the gray boxes if your graphics card is new enough.

Davir it happens for everyone if you want you can download the lower/higher graphics mod to see cars ( in full color) from far away.

Most likely the issue you might be having is related to your graphic detail. If you want to fix it, raise your graphic levels, or get a better card.
