Should I get Cities XL?

 Should I get Cities XL.. or maybe I should say why should I get it?  I have SC4k but I really like the graphics in XL.  I haven't played it.  Should I get the demo?  I guess what I'm asking is what do those who have played it suggest?  Is it worth getting?   I'm open to anything anyone has to say on the subject.

The game price was $19.99 until yesterday so it has worth buying. Maybe you know that in October a new game is coming - Cities XL 2011. But the game is good and with the mods released it's even better - so it worths buying

i bought the game 3 mounths ago. and it was worth buying it cuz the mods are getting better and better =)

Totally true mate! I've had this game ever since it came out and I still love it. I installed sim city 4 yesterday and uninstalled it today lol because it just wasn't as good as cities xl. The game is evolving and I don't you would want to miss that would you?

I bought the game six months ago, The game is great and much better now with all the mods coming out.

I wouldn't buy the game right now until citiesxl 2011 goes out,.

If you wait you can then compare the two games and see what one is the best to get.

I played the beta up until a few days before the official release and shut down of their servers.... considering a majority of reviews out there still complain about the same bugs and problems that has existed since beta days, I refuse to buy ANY game from a company where profits are more important than quality of the product. CXL is one where I just cannot justify spending my hard earned money.

i to would like to buy it (the 2011 edition) as it dose look good, but i dont know if it would work on my set up as i have a mac mini (2010) with 4gb ram, 2.4ghz processor & windows xp sp3 in boot camp ? if it will could i have the grapics to max or would they have to be lower?

Honestly, wait for CXL 2011 to drop. The game is really missing some serious additions like mass transit. They did add buses and the ability to set bus routes, which was amazing, but without trains, subways, monorails, or whatever, its really not worth the effort. I'd say that's Cities XL's main problem, far too much micromanagement on a bunch of trivial issues like entertainment and keeping private industry afloat.

I would wait and see for other players to release critics and ratings. I was a bit (very much) disgusted by having to pay for extra in game content :@

Cities XL was more interested in business than by making a good game. I would buy it if Focus allow BAT's and modding. Bcuse it is the BAT's that are keeping SC4 alive still today

I think you should just wait for Cities XL 2011 to come out. Cities XL is currently missing many features, but cities xl 2011 is going to fix those.
