Brown box, dependencies

 Hi,

I downloaded this file:Ninja Boulevard Station. 

It works great. However, when I plop them, I get brown boxes. That is probably because I need some dependencies.

I just don't know where to get them.

Could someone please help me?

That building should have no depdencies. Are you sure that you put all the files in the download in your plugins folder? All the files except the readme need to be in the pugin folder for the download to work.

Also, I just tried it as the only thing in my plugins, and it appeared fine. I know it's an older file, but the download does mention it's an RH update. Is your game Rush Hour or Deluxe?

Hi! I have the same problem; the option of putting the building appears but when I put it, its appears a big brown box. I don t have the expantion rush hour. [Topic not permitted - CaptCity] If its a problem of don t have the expantion, theres is any way to know which exchange need it, and wichs not?

Most items on the STEX were made after the release of Rush Hour (I would say from late 2003 on). To see if something will work with the original version of SC4, you'll probably need to download it and try it out in a test city (It's a good idea to do this anyway).

but are you sure that this problem of having a big brown box, instead of the building stex is a problem of don t having thh expantion?

If you are asking about the Ninja Boulevard Station from the first post, then the model is included in the download. When I tried the station in my game, it appeared correctly.

Almost every download you see on the STEX (as well as elsewhere) pretty much ASSUME you have the RUSHHOUR or the DELUXE edition.. often stated explicitly.. if it doesn't specifically say it will work on vanilla SC4, I'd make the assumption it won't work there.

Hi! I don t know if I am in the correct thread to ask this ,but I search for any thread which can resolve my problem,and I did not find anyone.

My problem is that when I download some exchange of sim city 4, in the game the exchange appears, but when I put it, it appears only the base of the building, but not the hall building, does anyboody can help me on this?

I don t know if its relevant to the problem, but I don t have the rush hour, but the exchanges I tried to use were upload before 2004.

Probably people can't help you because no one plays SC4 vanilla (this means no Rushhour and no Deluxe)

If you are having a problem with one item in particular, you might mention the name of it. Someone maybe able to give more specific help. Just a thought...

it happens with any building,

I try with 20 buildings, 19 of them, have this problem.

All this 20 exchanges were upload before the 2004 as I have the vanilla.
