Welcome to Vegas! This is a very fast growing city located in the sun desert.

population of the city is approximately 341,107 people.

Due to the huge influx of numbers coming to the city, a huge surplus of houses have been zoned in anticipation to reach around 500,000 within the next year or so. The boom in population is largely due to the economic success of the city in recent years which has attracted many multinational companies including the start up of casinos and high quality hotels with dedicated quarters for bars and clubs, making it the ideal location for its 84,000 students, giving it not only the nickname "party city" but also "Student central"!

Region before the city.

traffic isnt too bad, slightly bad by downtown but thats a given..highways arent really needed yet, im planning on carrying out bus services when money permits..everything really is self contained so I didnt want to build big highways out of the city until they were really needed, i will update soon

It's nice to see you not using the sand-box in CXL... I don't use it either when building my cities... IT keeps me fiscally responsible, lol.... And my residents only semi-happy.... LOL

Vegas!? This doesn't look remotely close to Vegas. Unless your city isn't supposed to be like Vegas, which is only confusing to me tbh. It's still looking really cool though 4.gif

i really like those downtown circles! and yes it may be heavy on std grids but if you consider it reminiscent of desert or very flat cities with no obstacles then this is quite typical.

    well done!

When people say "Vegas," they always mean Las Vegas. So that's why I said what I wrote earlier.

I know -- I was joking.... Obviously, I've said 'I'm going to VEGAS' myself ..... I think grid is the norm in American western towns -- heck, even hilly San Fransisco is pretty much all grid-based..... Not to mention places like Seattle... or San Diego...
