Sounds a long enough list already.

Those are certainly the priorities.

Gems seem a more distant, but worthy goal.

As I've said before, anything I can do to help, such as test, please get in touch.

    High priority:

    blueprints final stage as landmarks and avatar button

    Medium priority:

    bugged blueprint, expansion and compatibility

    Low priority:

    thumbs (just a matter of time with photoshop...) and ctd with railroad (mainly because I don't know where to start)

    Things in the first picture are functional...

    While that waterway seems to be something gem-beach related... I remember I saw a picture with a working waterway at CXS (probably now they deleted it... I can't find it anymore), I remember an animated character.

    Can anybody tell me how i can get the sandbox mod to work again??

    I seem to have lost the ability to have any resource anywhere.... Is there a new way to do this with this mod?

    Sandbox is still working...

    My mod doesn't touch that kind of things... so I don't know what to do!

    Should be working.

    If the game is paused, then unpause it before selecting what you want to place. Then everything will be visible.

    I've tried that, but its like normal play.

    I seem to have lost the tab in the main menu that says "enable resources and sandbox play" but in game in the options panel i have cheats and can fix omnicorp prices and balance.

    The only thing that seems to be gone is the resources everywhere, and pausing or unpausing has no effect :S

    Never seen this "enable resources and sandbox play" ...

    Are we using the same version? What plugins are you using?

    I normally use more than these two mods, but i tested with just yours and maoku's sandbox, and same thing happens. When I try to build a water tower or a farm on an area thats red it only says "a suited terrain must appear highlighted on the ground", and it never turns green, regardless of the game being on or off pause.

    When you only use maoku's sanbox mode the main menu changes to: play, enable resources and sandbox play, tutorial, website, options and quit. And if i play the game through the "enable all reasources and sandbox play" button, the red area turns green instantly.

    when i have your mod too the enable- and website buttons are replaced with one avatar editor button.

    So i don't now whats wrong really, but it would be great to be able to cheat everywhere =D

    I have the LE version of the game btw.

    Probably I modded an old version of the mod... gonna verify!

    My bad: I used for the developement of this mod the sandbox version 1.0.0 ...

    I fixed compatibility with sandbox 1.0.2 ... will be included in next mod update!

    K.. Im Back...

    Still trying to figure out the unlocking part and still trying to unlock the particle files

    (globex i realized that in the beta the same weather button was shaded in gray and was disabled, just like the avatar button you unlocked)

    Where did you unlock the avatar mode?

    Downloaded and testing now.

    Have set up a new city. Using sandbox to allow me to quickly get huge cash flow from trade cheat as this allows me to build all blueprints pretty quickly.

    Some blueprints missing - e.g. St Mary's Axe, Tokyo TV - these were ones that caused CTD in v1 of unlock mod, so was hoping to test them.

    Blueprints tried so far are very nice. Noticed Buckingham palace is still missing a thumbnail. Nice to see the correct thumb is now on the observatory. Still bugged text on the shipyard.

    Will edit this reply once I've tested more.

    (edit 1) Whilst I remember, one variation from the unlocker mod is that now, when you build a blueprint, it vanishes, so you can have only one Eiffel Tower per city.  Personally, I think I prefer this, but I suspect some will complain...

    (edit 2) Alcatraz still seems bugged - both in unlocker mod and the 40 blueprint test, I can't assign manufacturing tokens in stage 3, despite having a significant surplus available for trade.

    (edit 3) Can't finish Eiffel tower either - problem there also seems to be an inability to assign manufacturing tokens.

    (edit4) Baseball stadium completes despite requiring manufacturing tokens.  Soccer stadium has 2 bugs - the manufacturing stage 3 bug and also one in other stages that causes you to get about a million "stage complete" messages - every time it moves on a couple of percent, I guess.

    (edit 5) Ferris wheel also has the "This project has reached the next stage" message every 4%.  This didn't happen in the original unlocker mod.

    (edit 6) However the ferris wheel does complete, despite requiring manufacturing in stage 3, much like baseball stadium.

    (edit 7) Sydney opera house completes building, but the model is still of one of the construction stages.  Stage 1 of Buddha won't complete for some reason.

    (edit 8) Sydney Opera house displayed the completed model when I went back into CXL.  Also, revision to previous statement about blueprints only being buildable once - some vanish from the build menu once built and some don't.

    (edit 9) Interface frozen, can't do anything after placing Chichen Itza.  Whether that's this specific blueprint or simply the game's response to one map having so many blueprints on it is unclear.  Still randomly getting the "This project has reached the next stage" messages so something is still wrong.

    (edit 10) Interface still screwed.  Odd as all city activities continuing happily, so the game is ongoing.  I just can't interact with it.  Tried hitting escape.  Noise, but no clear game reaction.  Give Alt-F4 a go and the game immediately quit.  No idea whether it saved.  Update once I'm in and know what's working.

    (edit 11) Back in.  Killed the Buddha, tried it again but still no luck.  Built Buckingham palace, but seems to have the same problem as Sydney Opera House - completes but the model is still a construction stage.  Not sure whether it will show a complete model when I go back in - TBC.

    OK. Final update for this round of testing. Built empire state building and had the same interface vanishing trick that happened when I built Chichen Itza. Was strange as I could still manage the existing builds, but was obviously not able to build anything new or to access menu functions. Played on for 45 minutes, finishing blueprints in progress, hoping that the autosave would kick in. Finally quit via Alt-F4. About to check and see what (if anything) the autosave kept for me.

    (edit 1)  Went back in and the auto save had kept most of it, which is nice.  Finished Empire State and Chichen Itza.

    Seems that the following are priorities ocne the unlock are finished:

    (i)     Memory leak problem

    (ii)    Some sort of mod manager like the one that was available for oblivion - it anaged the contents of the mod folder, allowed tick and untick applying of mods and gave red, amber or green statuses for mod compatibility.  Extension might be to have some sort of update checker and version control.

    (iii)   Manual save game function rather than just having to wait for the game to decide to.  Ideally one with a shortcut key which would allow save if and when the visual interface crashed.

    (edit 2) Very final edit this time I promise.  I've now tried every blueprint.  Couldn't do oil rig as oil and water not mixing...  Statue of Liberty and Big Ben don't work - same manufacturing problem.

    BIG news!

    Finally I discovered why some blueprints crash (like TajMahal, ...). So in the next version of the unlocker, blueprint will be fixed...

    (no need to add again things to the menu like blueprints as landmarks, since now they're working).

    If you're talking about the button in the cheat menu, maybe you forgot to download the dependency of the unlocker mod (read carefully the main page of the stex download)
