help? please

 this is probably somewhere in the forum but i cant find the answer. anyways im trying to download plug ins from the exchange and they say download complete. but when i start the game up i cant find them. i also checked in the sim city4 plugin folder but nothing is in there. any ideas?

Downloads from the STEX don't automatically go to your plugins folder. You will need to set a target destination and then save it to begin downloading. When completed, a zip folder will appear at the location where you saved it. You will then need to extract the contents of the zip folder to your plugins folder. Most downloads will have a readme that will give further information about the lot/BAT etc. Make sure you read this because there may be dependencies that are needed for it to work. Once you have done this you should have the lot/BAT in your plugins folder. It should then work in SC4.
