    these are really good people. and tropod, i dont think its copyrighted except for resale, it is part of the fan site package you can download from simcity.com.

    I suppose it's supposed to represent the added possibilities that the NAM brings. Could use touch-up. Suitable for resizing and relayout. zzzzz…

    Did simcity5's come out of a logo generator? It's quite nice but the SAMPLE watermark kind of puts me off …

    I don't understand why people who have nothing to do with the NAM development and have not even a small technical background knowledge about SC4 are playing the marketing managers of essential MODs.

    For me, the NAM is still a BETA MOD. It's content is not final and sometimes, modifications on features which are distributed since many months are made. In my opinion, we may not invest much time in advertisement. The focus is the development and the time is better invested if more people learn how to create content. The bad side of a massive marketing for a BETA MOD are lots of support questions but not enough people who have the time to give suitable answers.

    I am not against logos, homepages and so on, but I will not take much care about it.

    I don't know what newyorkrunaway's role is, but if Tropod is okay with it, I don't see what the big deal is.

    GingerBlokey, I really like that concept (listing things that NAM adds, and the transit map graphic design), but I think the title needs to be more prominent.

    I'd also replace elevated rail with sunken highways, and maybe add roundabouts and diagonal streets somewhere.

    1. Who is to say that people who are contributing to this thread have not even a small technical background knowledge about SC4? And even if they dont, why does it matter, people want to contribute, that is a huge thing, especially when an oppurtunity is opened for users to do so.

                This is not a marketing skeem. This is way to put all the NAM stuff in one, central location for people to get all they need for the NAM.

                Again, this is not advertising, this is a way to get insight from users and give thema  chance to give their input so people can feel like they gave to ST and the NAM. All people may not be able to mod, but this gives them the chance to donate in a way and feel they made a contribution.

                Not all people have as much time as you may have, jobs, school, or other things may take up their time. Or they may specialize in other areas, like graphics, what this thread is for, not modding.

                 Again, this is not mass distribution, as st has already accomplished this, so no need to get mad about that, its already been done. Second, this is not going to create confusion, it is a resource to stop the confusion, a one stop shop almost to go and find out anything and everything you would need to know about the NAM. it eliminates the need to scour through endless threads that may or may not have what you are looking for about the NAM, which has been illustrated time and again with posts like, where do i get the NAM, I don't think I have all the puzzle pieces, and my personal favorite Where can i get these intersections. This will only lead to good not mass distribution ending in mass confusion.

                    No one asked you to care about the project, I appreciate your insight, but there honestly was no need for this unless you were trying to boost your post count. You do a good job with modding and the NAM, so keep your energy towrads that, not downing a thread because you dont care for it.
     
    I hope you understand what the site is for now, and thanks for your effort towards the NAM!

    Hi,

    No, my images did not come out of a generator; created with Fireworks. Unfortunetely, I put the SAMPLE watermark over the image due to some previous experiences. Obviously the watermark is removed in a final, absolute version.

    OK people, you have done a great job, but this message is to let you know i have reached an ending date to the submissions, submissions will stop being accepted on August 5, at 12am (midnight) CST. After that, the top submissions will be picked and a thread will be created to allow all st members to vote on the one that will be used on http://www.stnam.com
